Accreditation
All courses are recognized and accredited by many organizations and professional bodies in many countries, including: The National Association of Homeopathic Groups, The British Faculty of Osteopathy, The Society for Complementary Medicine, The Association of General Practitioners of Natural Medicine, the UK National Pharmaceutical Association, and The Association for the Promotion of Animal Complementary Health Education. The British Institute is also affiliated with The Institute for Complementary Medicine.
Graduates may apply for membership of The Homeopathic Medical Association on completion of the full Practitioner Study Program entitling to the use of the initials MHMA. Graduates of the Practitioner Program may also apply for membership with the UK Alliance of Registered Homoeopaths (ARH).
Internationally, the courses of the Institute are widely recognized by many bodies, including:
The Federation of Homoeopaths, The American University of Complementary Medicine, The Society for Ultra-molecular Medicine (USA), The Alternative Medicine Foundation (USA), The American Naturopathic Medical Association, The African Homeopathic Medical Foundation, The International Federation of Practitioners of Natural Therapeutics, Pakistan Homeopathic Physicians and Pharmacists Association, The Asia Homeopathic Association, The Jain Homeopathic Foundation (India), The Ontario Homeopathic Association (inquire for details on various levels of membership), The Canadian National United Professional Association of Trained Homeopaths, The American Council for Applied Clinical Nutrition, The Australian Traditional Medicine Society, the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP Certification), and the National Board of Homeopathic Examiners.
"The British Institute of Homeopathy was granted the exclusive right to its style and title by the Secretary of State of The Department of Trade and Industry in 1996 (UK). The British Institute is registered as a Training Provider with The Department for Education and Employment for Career Development Loans, Registration No. 2721, which must be quoted on application (UK).
Please note that successful completion of courses with The British Institute of Homeopathy - Canada does not constitute licensing to practice. Regulations can very or change from province to province and need to be inquired into and adhered to according to local rulings.
Course Commencement
Courses may be commenced at any time throughout the year and students may study at their own pace to achieve whatever goal they set themselves. The Human Sciences, Nutrition, Herbology, the Basic Veterinary Homeopathy, Basic Homeopathic Pharmacy, Woman's Health, and Bach-Flower courses may be taken concurrently with the Diploma, Practitioner, or Postgraduate courses.
Tutors
For all Institute courses the student is assigned a personal tutor who will mark and comment on their test papers and exams and guide them through the course on a friendly and informal basis. All our tutors are experienced practitioners and teachers themselves and will assist you in achieving whatever goal you set yourself.
