About the British Institute of Homeopathy

The British Institute of Homeopathy was founded by Dr. Trevor Cook in London, England, in 1987.

Intent on furthering the practice of Homeopathy internationally, the BIH teaches Homeopathy according to the principles developed by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, founder of Homeopathy, without losing sight and understanding of the various modern approaches.

The Canadian branch has been in existence for many years now and is proud of the fact that many Homeopaths in Canada have studied with us at one time or another. We continue to do our best in building a strong and active alumni.

The Institute has developed a worldwide reputation, and there are over 11,000 students in over 75 countries who have successfully completed their studies, or are presently studying courses in Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Herbology, Nutrition, Human Sciences, and other complementary therapies. Experienced Practitioners and Teachers provide personal quality tutoring by distance learning through mail and Internet, as well as classroom study to students around the world.
